Photographs
You are welcome to send photos for submission to our Web Site. We presently do not include photos in the newsletter due to space constraints.
If you wish to include photos, here are our guidelines.
- Please send in JPEG format only.
- No more than 12 files.
- Limit your photo size to 3072 by 2304 (about 1.5 MB) if possible.
- Include year and model of car.
- Include an asking price and/or OBO
- Include your contact information i.e. name, phone number with area code and email.
- To make our work as easy as possible, please name your photos in the manner shown below.
- Email your images or send us a link if you are sharing them online in cloud storage.
File Name Convention
To make our work easier (we are unpaid volunteers) please use the following format for your file names.

“Class” Makes the opening part of the string universal for all classified advertisements. Sorting will bring the related files all together. Using this as a filter will eliminate all other image types.
“2027-01-13” is the ISO 8601 numbering date of submission. This format sorts logically. Four digits for the year, two numeric digits for the month and two digits for the day of the month. In this example, it’s January 13.
“Downie” is the surname of the owner.
82 is the two-digit model year if the item is a car. IN this case, 1982.
242 is the model type.
01 is the serial sequence number, two digits, starting at (01) and incrementing by one.
If you don’t follow these guidelines, we’ll be forced to rename them at our leisure, which will result in a delayed response.
